This list does not include the nearly fifty or so other blogs that I have contributed to over the course of the last three years.
Total Site Development
Up until recently, I was the Project Manager for College Crunch, where was able to build out a site that received over 180,000 page views per month, and had a revenue of mid-four figures per month.
Responsibilities included:
- link building
- social media optimization
- search engine optimization
- content creation
- affiliate program management and integration
The site had, before I left, over 900 content pages, and well over one hundred blog posts. From September 2008 to September 2009, the site went from not existing to getting over 180,000 page views per month with almost half coming directly from search. If you are looking for someone to handle every aspect of your site, please contact me.

I am a very passionate person and there is no better way to make your passion contagious than to use the audio medium to get your voice out there as the excitement is felt in a much stronger way than text can ever do. I have been a part of many great podcasts, and continue to lend my time and opinions to as many as possible.

Media Mentions
On October 5, 2006, I was mentioned in the Ottawa Citizen, a local newspaper in the capital of Canada, in an article entitled, “Blogging for Dollar$” by Alexandra Zabjek.
Success, however, can’t be measured in dollars alone, Peralty insists. Through his work, he’s become chummy with famous online personalities: “I have Darren Rowse on my MSN list,” he says, referring to a famed Australian blogger. “Sometimes I can’t believe that I’m talking to people like that one-on-one.”

Writing
Outside of just blogging, I actually was the major contributor to the technology section of my College newspaper, the Nomad, where I had more than half a dozen of my articles published for consumption. Most were basic informational articles geared at helping the average College student make wise choices about the technology they needed for school.
I am always looking for an opportunity to contribute to a printed publication again, and so if you think I would be a good addition to yours, please contact me.
Technical Skills
My history with computers goes as far back as grade school where I was first introduced to the Apple IIgs. A simple computer that I enjoyed messing around with. My teacher at the time was very technology inept and was unable to figure out the simplest aspects of using the graphical user interface. His frustration allowed me to enjoy one of my first experiences of sharing my passion with someone else, as I spent time teaching him how to use the computers in exchange for soccer lessons.
My excitement in technology only continued to grow from there.
In College, I took Computer Networking and Technical Support at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario, where I was trained in the finer points of using Microsoft Windows in a client/server network organization as well as learning Linux, and getting my feet wet with the Mac OS once again.
During the first semester of my second year, I took a PHP class where I worked on understanding the programming language and finished the class with the highest mark in the class. This launched me into learning about content management systems, where I then fell in love with WordPress.
I have worked on around fifty different themes for a variety of sites, and have written a few small plugins for WordPress over the last three years.
While in the corporate world, I was introduced to HP-UX where I was able to use much of what I learned in my Linux classes in College as well as my understanding of other programming languages to write BASH scripts for the company as well as better understanding of large scale corporate servers running both Windows and HP-UX.
Understanding all of these things, and working for a company managing over three dozen blogs, I was able to switch the upgrade and management of those blogs to a Subversion system that reduced their upgrade time from a few hours to a few minutes.
I continue to keep apprised of all technology changes as they happen, and enjoy building computers, networking and modifying various components.
